Since the foundation of InfoAsset in 1999 as a high-tech spin-off of the Tecchnical University Hamburg-Harburg, we help our customers to gain competetive advantage through user-friendly and powerful information management solutions. Our typical custtomers are small and medium-sized companies and networks of such companies in knowledge-intensive industries.

We provide software engineering and consulting services for web-based enterprise solutions on the intranet, internet and extranet. Our team analyzes, designs, builds, integrates, deploys and maintains turnkey software solutions. If necessary, we also provide project management services in larger integratoin projects.

All our soluctions are based on a mature and portable technology platform engineered by experienced software architects. We also cooperate closely with academic experts in the area of of software engineering, knowledge management and information systems (e.g. Technical University Munich).This enables us to create tailored solutions at lower risk, with higher productivity and in significantly shorter time than our competitors. Last but not least, the platform enforces consistent and complete user-interfaces and thus boosts user productivity.

In 2003 InfoAsset moved from Hamburg to Munich. Today, InfoAsset has established a network of implementation partners and freelancers all over Germany that maintain and extend client solutions developed by InfoAsset.

In 2008 InfoAsset adopted a commercial open source model. Our mission is to better meet the needs of our customers by making our software based on open standards and ensuring freedom and peer review by making our source code available. We want to enable any developer to use our platform for their projects, whether that developer is an open source developer, or a commercial developer, or both.
